Sin (Monastic Medical)
The tripartite clinical state of Stasis + Infirmity + Noxous — the fixed, stuck pattern (stasis), diminishment of vital function (infirmity), and that which harms or opposes life (noxous). Sacred healing addresses sin in both its theological and biological dimensions.
From Old English synn, extended in SMOCH monastic medicine to encompass the clinical trinity: stasis, infirmity, noxous
